My name is Janell Crosby and I am the owner of The Cookie Boutique. Before I opened this shop, I was a third grade teacher for 17 years. I always loved baking and inventing fun food crafts for my students. This love led me to creating cookie bouquets. For months, I taught school all day and baked cookies all night. After a lot of prayer, I decided to start my own cookie business. Not your average cookie store where hard, pre-fab cookies are made in a factory in another state, ordered in bulk, and passed off in the store as "home- made". I wanted a shop where I made the dough completely from scratch, rolled it out with a rolling pin, cut it out with my own cookie cutters (I have over 500!), and baked and decorated them myself the same day they were ordered! I spent weeks developing my recipes for my cookies and home-made butter cream fondant (yes, I make my own). When I finally perfected a cookie that tasted as good as it looked, I opened The Cookie Boutique in February of 2008. I am proud to say that we are a family friendly business that specializes in "all things cookie"- cookie bouquets, cookie favors, cookie cakes, and cookie baskets. We also have Mini-Melts Ice Cream, Animaland, and a variety of birthday party packages.
